EYFS: Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED)
Communication and Language; Understanding the World
Whilst these areas are recognised as being for the Early Years Foundations Stage (EYFS) we believe that by reminding ourselves of these can support older children particularly when development age does not match stage. By using the vOUCHers as recommended, we believe that it can help and support children in the areas below for the following areas: Personal, Social and Emotional Development (PSED), Communication and Language, and Understanding the World.
As you choose to adapt and develop it within your setting, you may find that more or different strands are being supported. Three Prime Areas
PSED and Communication and Listening are two of the three prime areas within the EYFS. Each prime area is divided into early learning goals
